ABOUT LISA

Hello and welcome to my website,

I have been a sewer all my life & first caught the quilting bug in 1997 and have been quilting madly ever since, doing as many courses, attending as many conventions and reading as many books as my life will allow me.

My quilting pilgrimage began in Canada, and then moved to England, now I am back at my birthplace, here in Coffs Harbour.

I have completed TAFE Certificate IV in Assessment and Training so I could teach – my passion was to teach sewing, quilting, bag making, and clothing, my journey in teaching began at that moment.

I am currently studying my Certificate IV in Fashion Design and Technology which will enable me to draft original patterns with my students.

I also show and breed cats {Selkirk Rex and British Shorthairs}, which I have done for a number of years, I brought my cats from England out here to Australia with me,

I hope you enjoy my website and please don’t hesitate to contact me with any queries.

Sydney Quilt show 2015 I was thrilled to receive a 'Judges Commendation Award' for my version of 'Under the Southern Stars' quilt — a Sue Daley pattern.

This was my first ever entry in the quilt show and I was in the professional section straight up.
